Beyond Classical Theatre Inc

The purpose of Beyond Classical Theatre is (I) honor the legacy of Johnny Lee Davenport by giving actors of color, with a specific passion for Classical Theatre, opportunities to prepare for excellence in the performance of Classical Theatre and to become role models and teachers for other actors of color who share this same passion; (ii) to offer grants, determined annually by the Board of Directors, to foster these opportunities; and (iii) to carry on any other activity in support of and to benefit the above purposes as may be carried out by a corporation organized under Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General Laws and described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
