Montez Press Arts

The organization is a nonprofit corporation formed to provide access to services: tools, technology, and means of distribution to artists working with spoken, written, and affective language in different mediums and forms of transmission. Montez Press Arts grants artists permission to define their own creative context, interrupt commercial means of communication and redefine frameworks. Montez Press Arts' Montez Press radio program gives artists the opportunity to experiment in radio broadcasting and play in the boundaries of conversation, performance, installation, and sound by offering airtime, recording technologies, live performance space, and documentation. Montez Press radio is a platform where different enclaves of the art world interact with each other and investigate the many facets of radio and sonic space
