We grow organic produce for distribution to the carmelitos senior village and low income residents of the carmelitos low income housing project located at 1000 via wanda in long beach, California 90805 the senior villiage address is 805 via carmelitos in long beach, California 90805. The total population we serve is approximatily 2,500 residence that live in the community. We. Grow seasonal therefore we have a 2 month waiting periond between harvest. We distribute once per week as our harvest provides. We distributing on average of 600 poundfs of produce and fruits per week. We hold our own farmers market on our farm site, 70% of produce is provided for free to the residents. We also donate to the salvation army bell shelter for the homeless in bell California and the house of ruth homeless women and childrens shelter in east Los Angeles , ca. We try to deliver to these shelters at least once every 60 days.
