Smithville Main Street District

To provide educational resources in order to stimulate downtown revitalization in Smithville, mo. We will use the mo Main Street 4 point approach to stimulate economic development through organization (encouraging cooperation, recruiting members, and building leadership in the business community); promotion (creating a positive image for downtown and promoting it as a viable place to live, shop, and invest); economic vitality (developing business retention, expansion and recruitment strategies) and design (providing design education and assistance to improve the appearance of downtown). The organization shall aspire to achieve and remain in good standing with the national Main Street center.
