Krewe of Themis

Krewe of Themis (KOT/the Krewe) is a Mardi Gras Krewe formed to promote and foster social justice in the New Orleans Metropolitan area and beyond. We are a group of diverse women, uniting to cultivate positivity and inclusion in our community throughout the year. We believe that feminism is strongest when women of all races and sexual orientations work together for the greater good. The purpose of KOT is to unite women of all races, denominations, and sexual orientations in order to promote community involvement and volunteerism. KOT also advocates for equality, inclusiveness, and social justice throughout the community through media, community events, and public forums.
