Georgetown Neurosciences Foundation

The Georgetown neuroscience foundation is a grassroots 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to giving people control of their brain health through research, education and outreach. Working in partnership with the university of Texas system and a core community based in Georgetown, Texas, it is the home of the Georgetown brain study, a longitudinal research project into the impact of lifestyle on brain health and neurodegenerative disease, a family of conditions that includes Dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and als. The organization is headed by an executive director with the guidance of a board of directors and a medical advisory board
