Recognizing that many young adults lack critical thinking math and literacy skills, the purpose of Innovations in Education is to bring students to proficiency in literacy and math by the end of 3rd grade by utilizing approaches involving technology to bolster the common school-based teaching techniques. Activities include: (I) coaching teachers to best utilize technology to pinpoint student's strengths and tailor specialized individualized instructions; (ii) observing teachers' instructional strategies and providing guidance; (iii) using and interpreting student data to identify learning needs and best teaching techniques; and (iv) hiring supplemental support staff to assist in the classroom. In addition, Innovations in Education recognizes that students need social and emotional support, as well as academic support. In response to to this, Innovations in Education provides: (I) individualized student support; (ii) physical movement; and (iii) non-verbal self-assessments.
