Graduate Philadelphia is a nonprofit organization with a mission to increase the number of low-to-moderate income adults completing a postsecondary credential in the greater Philadelphia region, by engaging business, higher education, government, organized labor, workforce and economic development, community building organizations, and social service providers to align existing resources, remove barriers, and create new pathways. As both a direct service provider and systems impact leader, Graduate Philadelphia serves uniquely at the intersection of postsecondary education, workforce development, and community engagement. Focusing on the adult learner community, Graduate Philadelphia takes a community-level approach to recruit and to support adult learners and front-line workers through the following core activities: * coaching and advising non-traditional, diverse adult learners to obtain academic and workforce credentials and a living wage income * delivering foundational skills-based training in high-demand industries and connecting that foundational training to associate and bachelor's degree pathways and stackable credentials. * working with businesses and employers to design and implement talent development strategies that support the workforce and career progression needs of front-line, lower-income diverse populations.
