James J Pete Drexler Scholarship Fund

The James j "pete" Scholarship fund provides educational scholarships for university students in New Mexico and neighboring States (I.e., New Mexico state university, hereinafter nmsu) studying in the fields of physics, mathematics, local New Mexico history, and/or a similar field of study. Both graduating high school seniors and current undergraduate and graduate students are eligible to apply. The specific objectives and purpose of this organization shall be: a. To provide supplemental educational funding for students including but not limited to tuition assistance and related fees; b. To provide funding for the purchase of books,equipment, materials, and technology necessary for coursework; c. To encourage and support students studying at nmsu in the fields of physics, mathematics, and/or local New Mexico history; and d. To sponsor, host and/or participate in events and activities that promote nmsus physics, mathematics, and/or local New Mexico history educational programs
