The mission is to reduce Sickle cell disease-associated mortality and morbidity; and improve the lives of people living with Sickle cell disease in Sub-Saharan Africa through: Providing screening to identify those with Sickle cell disease as early in life as possible, Providing disease-modifying medications and state-of-the-art interventions to decrease suffering and disabling complications, and Promoting culturally appropriate psychosocial support to improve quality of life
