Oceanarium and Education Center

The corporation is organized to operate the Oceanarium and Education center in mount desert island maine, to organize educational events, tours, and activities at the Oceanarium and Education center to educate the public about maine's marine ecosystem and marine life, the dark skies of acadia, safe kayaking, and related activites, and to conduct any other activites that may be neccesary, useful, or desirable for the furtherance or accomplishment of the foregoing purposes, provided that those activities would not endanger the corperation's not-for-profit or tax-exempt status.
