The mission of the organization is to provide platforms and support the underacknowledged black, indigenous, and people of color (bipoc) design and arts community, to create a more representational view of the design trades, artists, and the world which we live in and create. The organization aims to promote diversity within the design trade and visual arts industry by amplifying voices rarely heard. The organization has been established to fulfill several charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c) (3) of the internal revenue code ("the code"), including: (1) providing relief for the poor, distressed and the underprivileged; (2) supporting underacknowledged individuals on matters both useful to the individuals and beneficial to the community; (3) combating community deterioration; and (4) eliminating prejudice and discrimination within the design trade and visual arts industry.
