The Henry Ford Health System Michigan State University Health Sciences (hsc) organization supports the shared mission and vision of the two partner organizations to improve the lives of our citizenry, focusing on both the individual experience as well as community experience both across the State of Michigan and the nation. This mission is supported by the shared vision to drive advancement in Health care delivery, accelerate medical research and expand access and availability of education. It is the role of the hsc to drive this progress beyond what either member organization could have achieved independently. Primary areas of focus includes: expansion of medical research and medical education and improving Health outcomes through programs focused on Health equity, cancer, neuroscience, and population Health.
