The purpose is to preserve for all time the way of life of the Western ranch and the heritage of the American cowboy by providing a working ranch which is a museum of Western art that may be enjoyed by the public in a suitable and truly Western setting. This is a place where the public can see first hand the world of the cowboy. The employees provide services for the ranch. The ranch manager lives on the ranch and oversees all day-to-day operations of the ranch itself. This includes manual ranching work and operating machinery, the care and feeding of cattle and horses and he is also he caretaker of the property. The office manager has primary responsibility for the operations of the office and the foundation. The office manager works closely with the president of the foundation to make sure guidelines for the ranch's purpose are carried out effectively.
