The objectives of APLS is to promote the professions pertaining to surveying geospatial data collection analysis presentation and storage. APLS shall promote these objectives by: Providing education and training; Promoting and maintaining the highest possible standards of Professional ethics and practices; promoting public awareness and trust in the geospatial professions and their work; and by initiating legislative actions for the benefit of the Association its members and the public.
