Services Maximizing Independent Living and Empowerment

SMILE provides Services that support people with disabilities in achieving and maintaining Independent Living. Activities include Independent Living skills training, advocacy, information and referral, peer support, and access to assistive technology. The organization also offers programs that help individuals transition from institutions to community Living and supports youth as they move into adulthood. These Services are designed to promote autonomy, community participation, and improved quality of life for people with disabilities.
