Maricopa Association of Governments Information Center

During FY2000, the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) incorporated MAGIC as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization to provide certain services and technical assistance to MAG member agencies and non-members with regional issues. The value-added services typically relate to or build on MAG's grant-funded projects; however, the services are beyond the scope of eligibility for MAG's grant funding. MAGIC intends to break even; therefore, it provides services at cost. MAGIC is governed by the seven-member MAG Executive Committee. MAGIC is presented as a blended component unit and is accountable to MAG.
