Taylor Canyon Fire Station Inc

The corporation is organized and shall be operated exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code. Subject to the foregoing, the specific purposes and objectives of the corporation shall include but not be limited to the following: (a)planning, obtaining approval for, constructing, operating, maintaining, and repairing a Fire Station to be utilized by the gunnison county fire protection district to serve the Taylor river Canyon area of gunnison county, Colorado; (b) to establish and maintain a volunteer fire department to provide fire protection services in coordination with the gunnison county fire protection district; and (c) soliciting, collecting, and spending donations in furtherance of (a)and (b), above.
