NAC is a recovery community organization RCO. As an RCO our organization organizes recovery focused policy advocacy activities carries out recovery focused community education and outreach programs and provides peer-based recovery support services RCC. Our broadly defined recovery community is people based in long-term recovery their families friends and allies and the recovery focused addiction and recovery professionals. NAC presents and reflects religious spiritual and secular pathways. Our sole mission as an RCO is to mobilize resources within and outside of the recovery community to increase the prevalence and quality of long-term recovery from alcohol and drug addiction. Public education policy advocacy and peer-based recovery support services are the strategies through which our mission is achieved.
