Veteran non profit- the principal purpose of this organization is to address mental health, substance use, re-integration, and suicide in the special operations veteran community locally and nation-wide. 1: we facllitate the training of veteran mentors who are also military veterans. We connect veteran volunteers with agencies like the va, nasw, nami, pesi, and facilitate their training as a professional veteran peer support mentor. We also have developed our own in-house training with two board members who hold relevant phos. In-need veterans are then connected with either a local, regional, or national mentor.
