I&c Empowerment Zone

The I&c Empowerment Zone Inc is greatly involved in our community by dressing the youth for success thru our Prom Dress Fairy Project which provides prom dresses and accessories FREE to underserved young ladies; nourishing bodies thru Cheryl's Kitchen Table where we feed the community every Halloween (and volunteer packing and giving food boxes with other entities) and reacquainting our people with their culture through performance arts thru We Does Fete Masquerade Band where we keep the tradition of the Caribbean Cultural Clown alive by performing in parades, Mardi Gras and command performances along the east coast at schools and civic events. We also have 2 new programs We Love Books in which we have 7 little free libraries around Dekalb county at recreation centers, schools, parks and community health center that we fill with books weekly; and Our Jigsaw Puzzles which we collect and donate to schools and senior homes
