The Agnes Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution's primary exempt purpose is charitable. Our three largest programs annually are Wreaths Across America, Supporting Our Active Military, and Supporting Our Veterans. Each year in December we host a Wreaths Across America event to lay wreaths on the graves of veterans at Lonesome Hill Cemetery in Phillipsburg, Missouri. We also hold an annual packing party in November to send care packages to at least 50 active duty service members who are stationed overseas. In February, we make Valentine's Day cards for Missouri veterans living in veterans homes. The funds we raise through membership dues and our annual tea party provide the funds to pay for these programs.
