We provide services to strengthen families and the community by educating parents and children about what resources may be available to them from nonprofits and local, state and federal government agencies. We educate people about food banks, nonprofits that fight hunger, SNAP and eligibility guidelines, and connect them with short and long term solutions to address their needs. We serve single parents, families and children. While the focus is on families in poverty, we would not turn anyone away, and would educate them and connect them to the resources that exist in our region. We have a monthly community resource day where people from the community can come and speak with us about the challenges they face and what resources exist to help them meet their needs. We would like to raise money to help offset the cost of childcare for parents who have difficulty affording it.
