Sandwich Project

Program 1: Sandwich Production and Distribution Description: The Sandwich Project mobilizes volunteers throughout Metro Atlanta to prepare and donate homemade sandwiches supplemented with fresh fruit and protein bars. These items are collected weekly at designated drop-off locations and distributed to partner organizations serving those experiencing food insecurity. Persons Benefited: Approximately 5,000-7,000 individuals receive fresh sandwiches weekly, with over 2 Million sandwiches distributed since April 2020. Relevant Information: This program provides immediate nutrition to homeless individuals and food-insecure families who might otherwise go without adequate, healthy meals.
