Program 1: Sandwich Production and DistributionDescription: The Sandwich Project mobilizes volunteers throughout Metro Atlanta to prepare and donate homemade sandwiches supplemented with fresh fruit and protein bars. These items are collected weekly at designated drop-off locations and distributed to partner organizations serving those experiencing food insecurity.Persons Benefited: Approximately 4,000-6,000 individuals receive fresh sandwiches weekly, with over 1 Million sandwiches distributed since April 2020. Relevant Information: This program provides immediate nutrition to homeless individuals and food-insecure families who might otherwise go without adequate meals.
