Grace Community BIRTH Center Project Inc

We continued our support of the programs of the Grace Community BIRTH Center in Grand Bassin, Haiti. This year, 2024, was our first full year of operation of the BIRTH center and providing a full range of maternal health services. The staff provided 2207 prenatal appointments, 140 births, 501 postnatal appointments, assisted 54 clients who delivered at home with a traditional BIRTH assistant, managed 48 transfers and referrals, provided 267 BIRTH control appointments, screened 26 women for cervical cancer, taught 11 prenatal classes and 18 sexual educational classes for 126 children (ages 11-20).
