The Murray County Schools foundation inc (the foundation) was formed for the sole purpose of providing supplemental financial funding support for each of the individual public Schools (K-12) within the Murray County board of education school district which is a public school district in the state of Georgia. All funds the foundation raises, either through a fundraising event or contributions received by donors, will go predominantly to the supplemental financial support of the respective Schools with the exception of a nominal amount retained for certain small recurring operating expenses of the foundation. These funds will be given to the Schools in the school district based upon a needs basis to help the Schools to secure the necessary funding for, but not limited to, playground equipment, extra curricular activities and fine arts equipment.
