Be Body Positive PHILLY

Body empowerment project runs educational workshops surrounding body image and self-esteem for college, middle, and high school students in Philadelphia. Our mission is to teach participants the skills to live peacefully and healthfully in their bodies through meaningful near-peer interactions. Because our programs, in part, serve low-income students, it is important that the organization covers 100% of program expenses in order to eliminate any barriers to program entry for prospective participants. Our 501(c3)(3) tax exempt status allows us to operate charitably rather than for-profit, allowing us to continue serving this population.
