Soar Academy was established in 2011 by founder kenisha skaggs with the goal of creating a non-traditional learning environment that caters to each students individual learning style. The Academy provides personalized curricula designed to fully engage students while offering comprehensive assessment tools to diagnose learning disabilities and develop customized learning plans. Soar Academy is fully accredited by the Georgia accreditation commission, and all teachers hold a bachelors degree in education. Over the past 11 years, the Academy has supported over 500 students in the csra, transforming the educational experience for many children struggling with learning disabilities. At Soar Academy, our staff is dedicated to making a meaningful impact on every students journey. While not all are sped-certified or licensed teachers, they undergo continuous training in effective strategies to engage students and support their social-emotional growth.
