Ddev Foundation

The mission of the ddev foundation is to provide free and open source tools to website designers and builders, enabling them to enhance their productivity, collaborate effectively, and improve the overall development experience for creating websites and digital applications. The current focus of the ddev foundation is the development and maintenance of ddev, a tool that helps web developers run their websites locally on their own computers. Many add-ons are also supported. All official add-ons are free and open source and licensed under the apache 2 open source license. The organization may also conduct and disseminate research, educational materials, and resources to promote best practices in open-source development, collaboration, and digital literacy.
