The Children's Honor Choir, a division of The Children's Consortium for the Arts, is committed to instilling a love of the arts in children by allowing them to witness and participate in the performing and visual arts. The goals of the organization are two-fold: to provide a structured environment for children to develop their artistic prowess, whether it be in the visual or performing arts, and to expand their horizons by exposing them to some of the best artists the world has to offer. CCA meets these goals by challenging its young members to learn and rehearse pre-arranged musical pieces if in the performing arts or to create a body of work surrounding a theme if in the visual arts. Each challenge presented culminates in a live performance or display which is open to the public. Our highly trained staff of educators work with the children to develop the skill and discipline to hone their craft and have the confidence to share it with the world. CCA seeks to inspire budding young art
