Acadian BROWN Cotton

The Corporation is organized to preserve heirloom Acadian BROWN Cotton hereinafter referred to as ABC seed; to revitalize the local production of ABC with farmers who are committed to regenerative agricultural growing practices which are chemical free and climate beneficial; to create a traceable supply chain to support a sustainable regional fiber manufacturing industry using Acadian BROWN Cotton and other locally produced fiber; and to develop a manufacturing system to regionalize the production of textiles that supports local economies and contributes to climate change solutions as outlined by the Fibershed Regional Manufacturing Initiative.
