The mission of the Applicant is to enrich the lives of lower-income, inner-city children in the greater Los Angeles area by providing them with exposure to, and training in, ice figure skating through a month-long summer camp beginning in 2022.The Applicant intends to partner with the principal of one or more inner-city Los Angeles public schools serving lower-income children. The Applicant, working with the principal or an assistant principal, will select approximately fifty (50) children to participate in a month-long figure skating summer camp beginning in 2022. The camp will be all day (6 to 8 hours), 5 days a week. Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided to the participating students. The Applicant intends to target students who have just completed grades 1 through 4.
