The Live Donor Project

Transplant & Donor advocacy network, (tdan), is dedicated to saving lives by reducing the number of adults and children on transplant waitlists and by optimizing transplant outcomes. Headquartered in pittsburgh, pa, tdan is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, community-based organization with a specific focus on pittsburgh and its surrounding communities. It provides support for transplant donors, recipients and their families, and maximizes living organ donation with a four-tiered approach: education, advocacy, research and support.how do we do this?1. By education and mentoring members of the community to promote awareness of the importance and process involved in being a living Donor.2. By advocation for better legislation on both the state and federal levels to protect the rights of living donors, transplant recipients and those on transplant waitlists.3. By funding grants through our annual research funding program. Our hope is to inspire new ways to increase Live Donor transplantat
