Jamie dobie - Perspective fund supported a comprehensive coalition organizer initiative to strengthen the documentary film distribution landscape, particularly focusing on protecting and amplifying impact distribution opportunities. The project engaged seven key stakeholder groups including philanthropic funders, sales agents, entertainment lawyers, distributors, public Media leaders, independent filmmakers, and impact producers. During the three-month planning phase, the initiative conducted extensive stakeholder analysis and informational interviews, recruited 4-6 founding working group members representing diverse sectors, and established connections with the global impact producers alliance (gipa) working group members for knowledge transfer interviews.
