To provide daytime hospitality to homeless people in a homelike environment that respects their human dignity. It serves as a weekly oasis day for the poor who live predominantly in the congested homeless corridor the rest of the week. Offered are shelter, laundry facilities, showers, meals, bathrooms, beds to nap in, television and games for recreation. More importantly, relationships are formed between the regular guest and staff that often form a sense of "family".
