Girls & Gays Club

The Girls & Gays Club is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for marginalized communities by prioritizing youth mental health and overall well-being through counseling, education, creative activities, support services, and advocacy. We create safe spaces that affirm identity, reduce stigma, and promote resilience, with a particular focus on LGBTQ+ youth and foster youth who are disproportionately impacted by systemic barriers. Through mentorship, life-skills training, academic support, and community-building programs, we empower young people to thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. Our programs also include leadership development, access to mental health resources, and advocacy initiatives that advance equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all youth, with emphasis on uplifting foster youth and LGBTQ+ communities.
