The JBEG worked with Town of Juno Beach to replace invasive grasses along shoreline of Pelican Lake The strategy is to shade out invasive grasses by replacing with taller Native plants Provide guest speaker educational presentations and information for town citizens on topics to promote environmental best practices that foster a healthy ecosystem and support the conservation protection and sustainability of our natural resources Take lead role in upland Native planting project along Pelican Lake shore line including monthly maintenance Area of focus were erosion control Native trees and bird counts around Pelican Lake
