Cure Cdkl5 Foundation

Cure Cdkl5 Foundation, established in Spring 2022, is a nonprofit organization devoted to funding the research and development of treatments and cures for Cdkl5 deficiency disorder, a rare form of Epilepsy caused by a mutation in the Cdkl5 gene. Living with this rare disorder causes a very broad range of clinical symptoms and severity between individuals with the hallmarks being early-onset intractable seizures and neurodevelopmental delays that impact cognitive, motor, speech, and visual functional development. Our mission is to fundraise for Cdkl5 specific scientific and clinical research while offering affected Cdkl5 families resources to make their individual voyages for a cure more streamlined.
