PHILM Factory

The Philadelphia Film Factory (PHILM Factory) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering local independent filmmakers, residents, youth, and creatives, especially those from underserved and underrepresented communities, by providing educational, economic, and professional opportunities in film, entertainment, and media. Through hands-on training, workshops, mentorship, and community-based film productions, PHILM Factory equips participants with the skills, experience, and exposure needed to thrive in creative industries. The organization fosters diversity, inclusion, and equitable access to resources while strengthening Philadelphias film industry, culture, and economy by building a sustainable and inclusive ecosystem for media arts and production.
