The Uplands Science & Technology foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit research foundation whose mission is to support the vitality of the westgate@crane Technology park. The board is assisted by advisors from nswc crane and various regional, state, and national partners to ensure cross-sector alignment, strong communication, and the deployment of best practices in Technology park development.USTF's primary purpose is to:- facilitate the transformation of westgate into an innovation community,- lead the Technology park's development strategy by managing and coordinating the park's real estate assets and development process,- drive new activities and attract new firms and talent in emerging Technology areas like microelectronics, artificial intelligence, and hypersonics, and- create a unique regional hub with a distinctive sense of place.
