Nates Place a Wellness and Recovery Center

The mission at Nates Place, a Wellness and Recovery center, is to deliver targeted programs, healthy replacement activities, and 1:1 peer support Recovery coaching to teens and young adults (ages 13-25), who are at risk of substance abuse and/or mental health disorders, or striving to attain and maintain sobriety and mental health in a safe, healthy manner. Nate's Place, a Wellness and Recovery center fills a gap in services for underserved,uninsured and low income individuals. We provide the following services, free of charge, with free transportation: 1. 1:1 peer support Recovery coaching for every participant 2. 20+ healthy recreational activities 3. 13 groups that provide counseling, education and support 4. Bi-monthly community education talks on mental health and substance use 5. Teen intervene prevention groups in 13 schools across ventura county
