DC DOX is a major international film festival in the nation's capital dedicated to promoting documentary film as a leading art form, championing new voices and innovations in non-fiction storytelling, and using film as a catalyst to engage the most compelling issues of our day. The first edition showcased 60+films and hosted 100+ filmmakers and film industry participants who participated in q&as, panels, and networking. Over 3,000 audience members enjoyed the films on the festival's main slate which included numerous world, north American, and us premieres, and encompassed the most highly anticipated non-fiction titles of the year in both feature and shorts.
