DONKS Mission Statement: DONKS is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to wellness and movement practices for underserved populations in the Denver Metro area. Our mission focuses on: 1. Providing culturally responsive trauma-informed movement programs for marginalized communities with emphasis on at-risk youth individuals with disabilities BIPOC populations and older adults. 2. Addressing mental health challenges through accessible outdoor and movement-based activities that serve as therapeutic interventions. 3. Collaborating with community organizations to deliver programs that reduce barriers to participation in wellness activities. 4. Creating educational initiatives that empower youth while supporting their mental and emotional wellbeing. 5. Developing inclusive community spaces that foster healing personal growth and collective empowerment.
