Guana Tolomato - Our organization presented an educational outreach program for kids enrolled at summer camp at GTMNRR Guana Tolomato National Reserve. We presented two days for 2.5 hours each day for total of 5 hours. We read a childrens book to the students talked about North Atlantic Right whales and how they are on the brink of extinction and talked about other species of whales. Then the students created their very own Whale Haiku poems which they shared with their classmates and then we took a word search challenge with new marine vocabulary words.
