EIN 88-3624801 · Snapshot of IRS recognition, filing currency, financial health, and governance.
The primary exempt purpose of the College Satire Guild is to foster creative expression, critical thinking, and community engagement through satirical journalism. The organization accomplishes this by collaborating with various College organizations to produce and distribute a satirical publication. Over the past year, we successfully published nine issues, involving over twenty College-aged staff members in the editorial, writing, and production processes. This initiative not only provides practical experience in journalism and publishing but also serves as a platform for students to engage in social and cultural commentary, enhancing their educational experience and civic awareness.
