H.E.R. Society, Inc., is a San Antonio based non-profit organization whose mission is to help women in recovery find peace, healing, and strength through movement and stillness in nature. Our practice is rooted in Ecotherapy, or Nature Therapy. Research shows that by increasing our time spent in nature, we can reduce the likelihood or frequency of ADHD, PTSD, addiction, anxiety, mental fatigue, and stress. Our outreach includes partnership with AA and NA groups and local rehabilitation centers, with the primary goal of fostering a community of like-minded women, in pursuit of change and spiritual growth.
