HER MIGHTY HANDS

Our mission is to connect women subsistence farmers to technology and knowledge which empower them to advance their agricultural business, enabling them to improve the quality of life for themselves, their families and communities. We envision a world where empowered women farmers lead in ending generational poverty and hunger for their families and communities. In 2023 we brought our smartphone electronic extension solution to 16 subsistence woman farmers in rural Uganda. They learned how to farm more effectively. On average they increased their post-harvest crop sales 6.8X more and were food secure for 88 percent longer than a control group of women without phones.
