Friends of Oliver Inc

Friends of Oliver, inc is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization started by Friends and the parents of Oliver nulsen, who was born and diagnosed with diamond blackfan anemia - a genetic disorder in which the bone marrow is unable to produce red blood cells - or "dba." Oliver, and others suffering from dba, face seemingly insurmountable challenges, including dependence on blood transfusions to maintain safe red blood cell counts. Despite the many challenges, Oliver finds and spreads joy each and every day, brightening the lives of his family and Friends alike. Foo aims to fund targeted research and other resources for those suffering from dba with the goal of providing Oliver and those like him a chance to lead the kind of life that many of us take for granted.
