Houston Chapter of the Society of Independent Professional Earth

To provide an organization of Earth scientists who are certified by the governing body of the society as to Professional competence and observance of Professional and business ethics, to protect the public by strict enforcement of policies, provide advice to legislative bodies, to stimulate public interest in Earth science, publish papers for higher learning, support preservation of programs, and encourage scholarship in the field of Earth sciences.
